One of the things that Xbox 360 owners have complained about over the past eight years is Microsoft’s 100 friend list limit. That really is an incredibly low amount, especially in today’s worldwide connected society. With Xbox One, that is going to change as Microsoft has finally taken the initiative and addressed that issue by allowing you to have a 1,000 friends! That’s ten times the current amount! Definitely a significant upgrade. On top of that, you’ll also be pull friends from various social networks (like Facebook) as well as use your real name with your friends should you choose to do so. More details available on this via Polygon.

I, for one, am very excited about the prospect. Only being allowed 100 hundred friends in span of eight years covering nearly 80 million Xbox LIVE users? Ridiculous! It’s high time Microsoft did something about it. What are your thoughts on this? Are you someone who has been crying out for an extended friends list? Share your thoughts in the comments!
